Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life With Grapes, Peaches, And Pears On A Pewter Tazza, With A Self-Portrait In The Reflection by Panfilo Nuvolone was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 225,000.00 (€ 202,830.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Panfilo Nuvolone have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2018 the work Still Life With A Raised Stand, Peaches, Figs, And A Pumpkin, All On A Marble Ledge was auctioned for USD 447,000.00 (€ 383,033.42).
