Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolors Including an Important Canadian Collection and a Distinguished Private Collection, which included the work Two Plum Tree Leaves, Four Different Types Of Plums, Two Beetles, With A Subsidiary Study Of A Third One by Pancrace Bessa. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,202.00) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Pancrace Bessa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Corbeille De Fruits Et Fleurs Sur Un Entablement De Pierre Sur Lequel Repose Une Tourterelle in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 43,750.00.

Im Januar 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolors Including an Important Canadian Collection and a Distinguished Private Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Plum Tree Leaves, Four Different Types Of Plums, Two Beetles, With A Subsidiary Study Of A Third One von Pancrace Bessa zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.202,00) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
