In January 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Drawings, which included the work Three Illustrations Of Flowers From The Herbier Général De L'Amateur by Pancrace Bessa. The »bidding war« ended at USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,936.93), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Pancrace Bessa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Corbeille De Fruits Et Fleurs Sur Un Entablement De Pierre Sur Lequel Repose Une Tourterelle in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 43,750.00.

Im Januar 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three Illustrations Of Flowers From The Herbier Général De L'Amateur von Pancrace Bessa zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 10.936,93) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pancrace Bessa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Corbeille De Fruits Et Fleurs Sur Un Entablement De Pierre Sur Lequel Repose Une Tourterelle im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 43.750,00.
