This artwork by Pan Zuyin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. In the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Seven-Character Calligraphic Couplet In Running Script sold for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,570.77) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pan Zuyin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Album Of Letters sold at auction in September 2013 with the realized price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,776.51).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pan Zuyin erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit Seven-Character Calligraphic Couplet In Running Script für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.570,77) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Pan Zuyin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Album Of Letters im September 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.776,51).
