In October 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu by Pan Zuyin. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 62,500.00 (€ 5,930.93), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pan Zuyin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Album Of Letters, which sold at auction in September 2013 for USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,776.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu von Pan Zuyin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 5.930,93) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Pan Zuyin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Album Of Letters beobachtet, die im September 2013 für USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.776,51) versteigert wurde.
