A top price for Pan Gongkai
In October 2014 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction The Enchantment of Neoteric Chinese Ink, which included the work A Midsummer Night's Dream by Pan Gongkai. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 1,725,000.00 (€ 177,593.77), 15% above the upper estimate. With this result, A Midsummer Night's Dream is even the most expensive work of art by Pan Gongkai that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2014 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion The Enchantment of Neoteric Chinese Ink durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Midsummer Night's Dream von Pan Gongkai zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 1.725.000,00 (€ 177.593,77) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist A Midsummer Night's Dream sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Pan Gongkai, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
