Upper estimate price exceeded by 71 %.
The work Le Fou by Pablo Picasso was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2018. It achieved a price of USD 2,052,500.00 (€ 1,812,682.15), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 71%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
