Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2009 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Rêve D'Icart by Pablo Curatella Manes. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 638.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Curatella Manes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lancelot et Guenièvre in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 19,200.00 (€ 14,201.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2009 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rêve D'Icart von Pablo Curatella Manes zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 638,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Curatella Manes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lancelot et Guenièvre im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 19.200,00 (€ 14.201,18).
