Bessler, Nuremburg, both with margins, light- and time staining, occasional pale foxing, otherwise both apparently in very good condition, not examined out of the frames

Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2004 Christies in New York held the auction THE HOUSE SALE, which included the work Camellia Isolina Corsi And Camellia Rosetta: Two Plates by P. Stroobant. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,346.00 (€ 2,694.69). Other works by P. Stroobant have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 4,200.00 (€ 3,251.03) in April 2005 for the work Illustration Horticole: Six Plates.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2004 führte Christies in New York die Auktion THE HOUSE SALE durch, in der auch die Arbeit Camellia Isolina Corsi And Camellia Rosetta: Two Plates von P. Stroobant zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.346,00 (€ 2.694,69) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von P. Stroobant haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.200,00 (€ 3.251,03) im April 2005 für die Arbeit Illustration Horticole: Six Plates beobachtet.
