A top price for Sakae Ozawa - as previously expected
The work Vega (Diptych) by Sakae Ozawa was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 180,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 118,750.00 (€ 13,378.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Vega (Diptych) is the most expensive artwork by Sakae Ozawa that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Vega (Diptych) von Sakae Ozawa kam im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 13.378,97) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Vega (Diptych) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sakae Ozawa, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
