Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Tender Earth by Sakae Ozawa was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. The auction ended at the price of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,934.24), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Sakae Ozawa have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2016 the work Vega (Diptych) was auctioned for HKD 118,750.00 (€ 13,378.97).
