Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Open Air Cinema No. 2 by Ouyang Chun was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in October this year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 540,000.00 (€ 65,302.80), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ouyang Chun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gold Crown and Silver Crown in October this year with an auction result of HKD 6,600,000.00 (€ 798,145.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Open Air Cinema No. 2 von Ouyang Chun wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 540.000,00 (€ 65.302,80) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ouyang Chun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gold Crown and Silver Crown im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.600.000,00 (€ 798.145,34).
