The work King and Queen by Ouyang Chun was auctioned at Christies in London in May this year. It achieved a price of HKD 2,016,000.00 (€ 241,639.95), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ouyang Chun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gold Crown and Silver Crown, which sold at auction in October this year for HKD 6,600,000.00 (€ 798,145.34).

Die Arbeit King and Queen von Ouyang Chun kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 2.016.000,00 (€ 241.639,95) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ouyang Chun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gold Crown and Silver Crown beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für HKD 6.600.000,00 (€ 798.145,34) versteigert wurde.
