Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chrysanthemum and Rock by Ou Haonian was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. The price achieved of HKD 12,600.00 (€ 1,509.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ou Haonian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bird On A Branch in April this year with an auction result of HKD 42,000.00 (€ 42,890.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chrysanthemum and Rock von Ou Haonian kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 12.600,00 (€ 1.509,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ou Haonian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bird On A Branch im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 42.000,00 (€ 42.890,22).
