A top price for Otto Vautier - as previously expected
The work Valaisannes, 1893 by Otto Vautier was auctioned at Sothebys in Zurich in June 2017. It changed hands for a price of CHF 18,750.00 (€ 17,141.35) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of CHF 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Valaisannes, 1893 is the most expensive artwork by Otto Vautier that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Valaisannes, 1893 von Otto Vautier kam im Juni 2017 bei Sothebys in Zürich zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von CHF 18.750,00 (€ 17.141,35) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von CHF 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Valaisannes, 1893 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Otto Vautier, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
