Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 14,340.00 (€ 21,670.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto van Veen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Capture of Rome in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 728,750.00 (€ 817,088.99).
