Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Otto Poertzel could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in January 2024 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work A Bison changed hands for DKK 1,050.00 (€ 917.67) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Poertzel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Butterfly Dancers, Circa 1925 in April 2011 with an auction result of GBP 28,750.00 (€ 32,377.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Otto Poertzel konnte im Januar 2024 bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit A Bison für DKK 1.050,00 (€ 917,67) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otto Poertzel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Butterfly Dancers, Circa 1925 im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.750,00 (€ 32.377,45).
