Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Elevated View of A Harbour by Otto Nielsen for EUR 59.75. This price was achieved in the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 700.00 – 900.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Otto Nielsen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Africa By Sas, which sold at auction in December 2020 for GBP 127.50 (€ 142.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Elevated View of A Harbour von Otto Nielsen für EUR 59,75 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 700,00 – 900,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Otto Nielsen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Africa By Sas beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für GBP 127,50 (€ 142,43) versteigert wurde.
