The work Junge Zigeunerin (Young Gypsy) by Otto Mueller was sold in the The Collection of A. Alfred Taubman: Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2015. It achieved a price of USD 466,000.00 (€ 441,204.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. Admittedly, works by Otto Mueller have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Badende in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 2,079,650.00 (€ 2,320,042.92).

Die Arbeit Junge Zigeunerin (Young Gypsy) von Otto Mueller wurde im November 2015 in der Auktion The Collection of A. Alfred Taubman: Modern & Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 466.000,00 (€ 441.204,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 55%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Otto Mueller auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Badende im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.079.650,00 (€ 2.320.042,92).
