In December 2016 VAN HAM held the auction Discoveries, which included the work Weiblicher Akt (7.6.81) by Otto Muehl. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,290.00 29% above the estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Muehl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Interieur I (Interior I) in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 43,750.00.
Schätzpreis um 29 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2016 führte VAN HAM die Auktion Discoveries durch, in der auch die Arbeit Weiblicher Akt (7.6.81) von Otto Muehl zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.290,00 und damit 29% über dem Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otto Muehl erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Interieur I (Interior I) im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 43.750,00.
