Here, the estimate of DKK 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for DKK 5,500.00 (€ 737.82). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Heinrich Engel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Friesische Braut vor einem Spiegel in May last year with an auction result of EUR 27,500.00.
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Summer landscape with flowering trees and fields von Otto Heinrich Engel kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von DKK 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für DKK 5.500,00 (€ 737,82) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otto Heinrich Engel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Friesische Braut vor einem Spiegel im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.500,00.
