Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work A moor landscape with a cart by Otto Haslund was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in July this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 2,000.00 (€ 268.24). Admittedly, works by Otto Haslund have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of a young girl wearing a scarf in October this year with an auction result of DKK 12,500.00 (€ 1,674.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit A moor landscape with a cart von Otto Haslund im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 2.000,00 (€ 268,24) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Otto Haslund auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of a young girl wearing a scarf im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 12.500,00 (€ 1.674,87).
