Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Davos Parsenn by Otto Baumberger was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2013. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,501.77), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Otto Baumberger - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work PKZ, which sold at auction in June 2015 for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,459.92).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Davos Parsenn von Otto Baumberger kam im Januar 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.501,77) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Otto Baumberger mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit PKZ beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.459,92) versteigert wurde.
