Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2017 Christies in Milan held the auction Milan Modern and Contemporary, which included the work Personaggio su fondo giallo by Osvaldo Licini. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 86,557.00. Admittedly, works by Osvaldo Licini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Amalassunta Su Fondo Rosso Chiaro in April 2018 with an auction result of EUR 427,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2017 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Personaggio su fondo giallo von Osvaldo Licini zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 86.557,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Osvaldo Licini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Amalassunta Su Fondo Rosso Chiaro im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 427.500,00.
