Die Arbeit Amalassunta su fondo blu von Osvaldo Licini kam im November 2020 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 106.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Osvaldo Licini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Amalassunta Su Fondo Rosso Chiaro im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 427.500,00.
