Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Osvaldo Licini achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in April 2017. In the Milan Modern and Contemporary auction, the work Figura T 3 sold for EUR 159,343.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Osvaldo Licini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Amalassunta Su Fondo Rosso Chiaro, which sold at auction in April 2018 for EUR 427,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Osvaldo Licini erzielte im April 2017 bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary wurde die Arbeit Figura T 3 für EUR 159.343,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Osvaldo Licini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Amalassunta Su Fondo Rosso Chiaro beobachtet, die im April 2018 für EUR 427.500,00 versteigert wurde.
