The work #310, 1960 by Oskar Fischinger was sold in the Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in April last year. It achieved a price of USD 7,012.50 (€ 6,655.12), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oskar Fischinger - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Multiballs on black, which sold at auction in July 2016 for USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,550.50).

Die Arbeit #310, 1960 von Oskar Fischinger wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 7.012,50 (€ 6.655,12) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Für andere Arbeiten von Oskar Fischinger mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Multiballs on black beobachtet, die im Juli 2016 für USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.550,50) versteigert wurde.
