Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work WORK! by Oscar Murillo for GBP 25,200.00 (€ 28,448.35). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Oscar Murillo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 245,000.00 (€ 342,693.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit WORK! von Oscar Murillo für GBP 25.200,00 (€ 28.448,35) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Oscar Murillo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 245.000,00 (€ 342.693,81).
