Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Oscar de las Flores could be acquired at Phillips in Online Auction in June 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the connect / reflect / COLLECT a selection of contemporary art auction, the work Three works: (i) Natividad Salvatrucha; (ii) The Fathers of Commerce and Industry, and their Papi (study); (iii) Les Waltz des Narcos (study) changed hands for USD 500.00 (€ 445.20) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Oscar de las Flores achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two works: (i) Shipwreck Survivors, 2004; (ii) Commemorative & Indigestive Celebration of Human Greatness with Octopus in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,541.19).
In der Auktion connect / reflect / COLLECT a selection of contemporary art wechselte die Arbeit Three works: (i) Natividad Salvatrucha; (ii) The Fathers of Commerce and Industry, and their Papi (study); (iii) Les Waltz des Narcos (study) für USD 500,00 (€ 445,20) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00.
