Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Two Children by Oronzio Maldarelli for USD 1,062.50 (€ 716.89). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Oronzio Maldarelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bianca No. 2 in March last year with an auction result of USD 4,032.00 (€ 3,634.72).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Two Children von Oronzio Maldarelli für USD 1.062,50 (€ 716,89) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oronzio Maldarelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bianca No. 2 im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.032,00 (€ 3.634,72).
