Admittedly, works by Orlan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mosaique De Cartons D'Invitation Sur Brique, 2010 in March 2011 with an auction result of EUR 3,800.00.

Die Arbeit L'Origine De La Guerre - 2012 von Orlan wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Sale Benefiting to Fédération pour la Recherche sur le Cerveau bei Artcurial versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 700,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Orlan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mosaique De Cartons D'Invitation Sur Brique, 2010 im März 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.800,00.
