Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Middle Eastern Art Online Sale, which included this untitled work by Mubin Orhon. The price achieved of GBP 12,750.00 (€ 14,977.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mubin Orhon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition Abstraite, 1963 in June 2010 with an auction result of EUR 372,298.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mubin Orhon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.750,00 (€ 14.977,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mubin Orhon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition Abstraite, 1963 im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 372.298,00.
