The work Senza titolo by Orfeo Tamburi was auctioned at Christies in Milan in November 2003. It achieved a price of EUR 6,944.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Orfeo Tamburi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Motivo a Montparnasse, which sold at auction in May 2001 for ITL 14,700,000.00 (€ 13,908.93).

Die Arbeit Senza titolo von Orfeo Tamburi kam im November 2003 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 6.944,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Orfeo Tamburi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Motivo a Montparnasse beobachtet, die im Mai 2001 für ITL 14.700.000,00 (€ 13.908,93) versteigert wurde.
