A top price for Opy Zouni - as previously expected
The work Greek Abstract by Opy Zouni was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 27,204.19) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Greek Abstract is the most expensive artwork by Opy Zouni that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Greek Abstract von Opy Zouni kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 27.204,19) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Greek Abstract das teuerste Kunstwerk von Opy Zouni, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
