A top price for Ono Tadashige - as previously expected
The work Unknown by Ono Tadashige was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2011. The price achieved of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,429.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Unknown is the most expensive artwork by Ono Tadashige that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Unknown von Ono Tadashige kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.429,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Unknown das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ono Tadashige, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
