The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,640.00 (€ 2,035.62), 32% above the upper estimate. Other works by Ono Tadashige have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,429.94) in May 2011 for the work Unknown.
