Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2010 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Eclectic, Stockholm S193, which included the work "Påväg till kyrkan" by Olof Hermelin. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 8,500.00 (€ 907.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Olof Hermelin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vårlandskap in November 2009 with an auction result of SEK 160,000.00 (€ 15,259.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2010 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Eclectic, Stockholm S193 durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Påväg till kyrkan" von Olof Hermelin zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 8.500,00 (€ 907,94) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Olof Hermelin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vårlandskap im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 160.000,00 (€ 15.259,44).
