The work Landscape in spring by Olof Hermelin was sold in the Eclectic, Stockholm S197 auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in March 2011. It achieved a price of SEK 22,000.00 (€ 2,455.47), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 47%. Admittedly, works by Olof Hermelin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vårlandskap in November 2009 with an auction result of SEK 160,000.00 (€ 15,259.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 47 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape in spring von Olof Hermelin wurde im März 2011 in der Auktion Eclectic, Stockholm S197 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 22.000,00 (€ 2.455,47) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 47%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Olof Hermelin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vårlandskap im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 160.000,00 (€ 15.259,44).
