Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Franskt kustmotiv med fyrtorn by Olof Hermelin was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in June 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 9,000.00 (€ 943.86). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Olof Hermelin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vårlandskap in November 2009 with an auction result of SEK 160,000.00 (€ 15,259.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Franskt kustmotiv med fyrtorn von Olof Hermelin im Juni 2010 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 9.000,00 (€ 943,86) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Olof Hermelin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vårlandskap im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 160.000,00 (€ 15.259,44).
