Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Olof Arborelius could be acquired at Bukowski in December this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Winter Sale auction, the work Rural Idyll, Dalarna changed hands for SEK 20,000.00 (€ 1,798.95) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Olof Arborelius - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Stockholm från Mälaren" (Stockholm from Lake Mälaren), which sold at auction in June 2016 for SEK 55,000.00 (€ 5,862.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Olof Arborelius konnte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bukowski für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Important Winter Sale wechselte die Arbeit Rural Idyll, Dalarna für SEK 20.000,00 (€ 1.798,95) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Olof Arborelius mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Stockholm från Mälaren" (Stockholm from Lake Mälaren) beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für SEK 55.000,00 (€ 5.862,94) versteigert wurde.
