Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Still life with blue-bells and clover by Olle Hjortzberg was auctioned at Bukowski in December this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 25,000.00 (€ 2,248.69). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Olle Hjortzberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still life with meadow flowers. in June last year with an auction result of SEK 520,000.00 (€ 48,031.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Still life with blue-bells and clover von Olle Hjortzberg im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bukowski versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 25.000,00 (€ 2.248,69) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Olle Hjortzberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still life with meadow flowers. im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 520.000,00 (€ 48.031,33).
