Auction result well in line with expectations
The work NCK-PTR by Olivier Mosset was sold in the Post-war and contemporary art - vente du jour auction at Christies in Paris in December 2018. The price achieved of EUR 40,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Olivier Mosset - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2016 for USD 137,000.00 (€ 123,035.47).

Die Arbeit NCK-PTR von Olivier Mosset wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion Post-war and contemporary art - vente du jour bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 40.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Olivier Mosset mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für USD 137.000,00 (€ 123.035,47) versteigert wurde.
