Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Artcurial held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures, which included the work Vue D'Un Littoral Méditerranéen Animé De Personnages by Olivier Lemay. The price achieved of EUR 2,598.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Olivier Lemay have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ball Given By The Duke De Liancourt For The Countess De Rochechouart, At Lisieux in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,314.49).

Im November 2013 führte Artcurial die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vue D'Un Littoral Méditerranéen Animé De Personnages von Olivier Lemay zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.598,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Olivier Lemay auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ball Given By The Duke De Liancourt For The Countess De Rochechouart, At Lisieux im Juli 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.314,49).
