Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Christ and the Twelve Apostles, c by Olivia Holm-Møller was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in May this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 12,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 8,500.00 (€ 1,140.89). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Olivia Holm-Møller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harvest landscape in March this year with an auction result of DKK 110,000.00 (€ 14,761.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Christ and the Twelve Apostles, c von Olivia Holm-Møller im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 12.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 8.500,00 (€ 1.140,89) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Olivia Holm-Møller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harvest landscape im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 110.000,00 (€ 14.761,77).
