Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Flight (From The Elements Series) by Oliver Gollancz for GBP 360.00 (€ 528.89). This price was achieved in the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Oliver Gollancz have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2005 by the work Abstract Landscape at GBP 660.00 (€ 969.62).
