This work without title by Oliffe Richmond was sold in the THE W.R. BURGE COLLECTION auction at Christies in Sydney in March 2006. It achieved a price of AUD 6,572.50 (€ 3,879.39), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31%. Other works by Oliffe Richmond have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 11,400.00 (€ 6,702.29) in August 2009 for the work Australian Figure Study.
