Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work View from the harbour in Nakskov, Lolland by Ole Ring was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of DKK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 21,000.00 (€ 2,819.23). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ole Ring achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Danish vinterlandsby (Town In Winter) in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,849.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit View from the harbour in Nakskov, Lolland von Ole Ring im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 21.000,00 (€ 2.819,23) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ole Ring erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Danish vinterlandsby (Town In Winter) im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 35.849,95).
