Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Are You Talking To Me? by Ola Kolehmainen was auctioned at Phillips in London in November 2010. It changed hands for a price of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,456.24) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ola Kolehmainen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (No. 13), which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 20,400.00 (€ 30,272.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Are You Talking To Me? von Ola Kolehmainen kam im November 2010 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.456,24) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ola Kolehmainen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (No. 13) beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 20.400,00 (€ 30.272,57) versteigert wurde.
