Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Uroboros Landscape by Ohba Daisuke for HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,354.95). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Asian Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ohba Daisuke - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Uroboros (Spectrum), which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 237,500.00 (€ 27,746.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Uroboros Landscape von Ohba Daisuke für HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.354,95) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ohba Daisuke mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Uroboros (Spectrum) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 237.500,00 (€ 27.746,33) versteigert wurde.
