In June 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work An Amsterdam Canal With The Mozes And Aaron Church Beyond by Oene Romkes de Jongh. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,040.00 68% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oene Romkes de Jongh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Figures On A Frozen Canal In A Dutch Town, which sold at auction in April 2008 for EUR 10,450.00.

Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Amsterdam Canal With The Mozes And Aaron Church Beyond von Oene Romkes de Jongh zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.040,00 und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Oene Romkes de Jongh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Figures On A Frozen Canal In A Dutch Town beobachtet, die im April 2008 für EUR 10.450,00 versteigert wurde.
